300 guests are slated to attend this fundraising event co-chaired by Sarah Toigo and Margo Peerless in support of Delta Hospital!


August 2011 – On September 17, The Delta Hospital Foundation’s Moonlight Gala ‘Puts on the Ritz’ for a 1920s-inspired evening in support of Delta Hospital. The annual fundraising event will be held at Sacred Heart School in their newly built gymnasium. Presented for the second consecutive year by Envision Financial, the 5,400 square foot facility will be uniquely decorated for the ‘Roarin 20s’ theme.


This signature event is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year. It is expected to bring together 300 community members and raise an estimated $250,000 to support the Delta Hospital Foundation Cancer Care Fund – a newly designated fund dedicated to excellence in early detection and the purchase of diagnostic equipment for cancer patients.


Beginning at 5:30pm, guests will be treated to a ‘ritzy’ night that includes: cocktail reception, elegant dinner, silent and live auctions, raffles, games, music and dancing. In keeping with the evening’s inspiration, guests are invited to come in 1920s dress to express the dynamic culture of the decade.


2011 marks the second year as presenting sponsor for Envision Financial. Envision Financial president Bev Brown is pleased to be participating again this year. “We, at Envision, share the wider concerns of our members and we want to make a difference in the communities in which we operate,” said Brown. “The Delta Hospital Foundation plays a vital role in the community of Delta and we are proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Moonlight Gala for a second consecutive year.”
