June 2011 - Mini-Home Lottery Tickets Going Fast

June 1, 2011 – The Delta Hospital Foundation announced today that the unveiling of the Mini-Home Lottery exceeded expectations. With the farm-themed activity centre winning first place for best themed float at the Ladner May Days Parade and with more tickets sold than anticipated, almost 10% of tickets sold within the first 5 days, the kick-off of the Mini-Home Lottery has set a brisk pace for their inaugural year.
 
“Delta residents have embraced all that makes this prize truly unique. They’ve come together as a community to support their hospital just as the people who designed, built and supplied the creation of the barn have done. This is reflected in the strong pace of ticket sales and we are thrilled,” said Teresa Cooper, executive director, Delta Hospital Foundation. 
 
The Mini-Home Lottery farm-themed activity centre has found its temporary home at the front entrance of the Delta Hospital. It will also be available for viewing at the Ladner Village Market beginning Sunday June 12, 2011 through to ticket sale sell-out.
 
Tickets are $5 and are available now. They can be purchase by phone at 604 940 9695 or at one of three official ticket outlets throughout Delta: Delta Hospital Foundation or Dogwood Gift Shop, 5800 Mountain View Blvd.; Delta Carpets, 5025 48th Ave.; or IC
