Mar 2011 - West Coast Amusements Organizes Spring Fair in Support of Delta Hospital

The Delta Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a community-based fundraising event organized by West Coast Amusements to benefit the hospital. From March 30th to April 3nd, 2011, West Coast Amusements will be at Sungod Recreation Centre in North Delta with over 20 rides for a Spring Fair. Proceeds from the tickets sales will be donated to the Foundation.

West Coast Amusements has pledged fifteen percent of the daily tickets sales to be donated to the Foundation. Monies raised at this event will go towards much needed hospital equipment. In addition, on Thursday, March 31, 2011, if you bring a non-perishable food item, West Coast Amusements will give you $5 dollars off an unlimited ride pass. Food items will be donated to food banks servicing the North Delta area.

Jackey Zellweger, Delta Hospital Foundation’s Events Coordinator, is thrilled that the event will be hosted in North Delta, “Having a community-based fundraising event held in North Delta is very encouraging. These types of events are typically held in South Delta so I am very excited that West Coast thought to branch out. It’s an opportunity for the community to come together for the hospital and have fun too”.

The Spring Fair will be open from 1:00pm to 10:00pm March 30th to April 2nd and 1:00pm to 6:00pm April 3rd, 2011. Individual tickets can be purchased day of the event at West Coast Amusements ticket booth located at the Sungod Recreation Centre - 1720 56 St, North Delta, BC – throughout the event.
