Sept 2010 - Guichon Grandkids Raise $2,600 at Roadside Sale

The grandchildren of Jack Guichon were looking for a way to thank their community for their amazing support throughout this summer’s produce season. Their grandma Lorraine Guichon had passed away last November and the grandkids also wanted to do something special in her memory.
 
On Sunday September 5th, they held a roadside sale across from Kirkland House and donated all of the proceeds of the corn and potato sales to the Delta Hospital Foundation in memory of their Grandma Guichon. At the end of the day $2,600 was raised for the hospital as the community stopped by car after car for fresh vegetables. The grandkids even matched the corn purchased; giving customers double what they came for.
 
On behalf of Jack Guichon and all of the grandkids, Shay Guichon would like to thank everyone who came out, citing they all had a terrific day and the support by the community of Delta Hospital was very much appreciated.
