The Delta Hospital Foundation’s Moonlight Gala takes to the skies as the 12th rendition of the annual fundraising event will be held at the beautiful new Boundary Bay Airport. Presented by Envision Financial on September 12, the gala’s host sponsor Alpha Aviation’s 15,000-square foot facility will be uniquely decorated for an ‘Around the World’ theme.
 
Considered the foundation’s signature event, guests will be treated to a ‘first-class’ night that includes a cocktail reception, elegant dinner, silent & live auctions, raffles, games and dancing. In keeping with the evening’s international theme, guests are also invited to come dressed to express their own heritage and ethnic diversity.
 
It’s the first year as presenting sponsor for Envision Financial. Gala chair Sarah Toigo couldn’t have been happier to have them on board. “Envision has a long history of community support and I am so happy to have them present gala this year”, said chair Sarah Toigo. In 2009, Envision Financial distributed more than $1,400,000 to non-profit organizations through various sponsorships, scholarships and donations.
 
The goal of the fundraiser this year is $250,000 towards the greatest needs of Delta Hospital. Some of the funds raised will be from a highlight of the evening, the live auction. In keeping with the night’s theme, items will include a trip for two to any West Jet destination; L39 fighter jet ride;
Fraser Blues plane trip for lunch at Harrison Hot Springs; a trip for 2 to London including accommodations; and trip to Calgary to experience an Air Simulator, used to train pilots.
 
Moonlight Gala has been sold out for some time however the foundation may have some last-minute reservations available. To inquire and be placed on a waiting list, please call the office at 604-940-9695.
