We raise money to support Delta Hospital in the delivery of outstanding health care.
Our Vision
To be the charity of choice in the Delta community; we believe “charity begins at home”. The choice to give to the Foundation means providing the best health care in your community for you, your children and generations to come.
Our Commitment to our Donors and the Community
By making a donation to the Foundation, you are providing us with the resources we need to continue to work in this community. Because of this, we have an obligation to ensure that the funds that you invest in us are used responsibly and in the manner in which they were intended. With this in mind, the Foundation has made an agreement with Fraser Health that any equipment purchased by the Foundation cannot be removed from Delta Hospital without permission from the donor.
The Foundation respects and values the contributions of its donors. It is very important for us to assure you that the Foundation subscribes to ethical principles that protect confidentiality and any and all conditions that are placed on the gifts that we receive. To formalize this, we have adopted the Association of Fundraising Professionals Donor Bill of Rights.
We are also pleased to make available to you our 2010 financial statements.
Cooperation
Our donors are welcomed and respected as a vital part of the hospital’s internal community. By working together, we can ensure our hospital remains a health care facility that is second to none. Delta’s residents have proven time and time again that they are passionate about their hospital and will let nothing stand in the way of making it the best. The Foundation is dedicated to this need and in turn relies on the community’s generosity and support to make this possible.
