For the month of February the Delta Hospital Foundation, the South Delta Leader, and MK Delta Lands Group are celebrating all things Delta Hospital!

I Heart Delta Hospital is a time where we take a step back and remember the great work that is done at the Hospital! From February 1 to 29, you can send your story to the Foundation at iheart@deltahospital.com and MK Delta Lands will donate $100 to the Foundation's Cardiac Care Fund.

Don't have time to write a story? Visit us on Facebook or Twitter and follow us, leave a comment, "like" someone else's', or tweet, and MK Delta Lands Group will donate $5.

In every Friday edition for the month of February, the South Delta Leader will feature some of the stories we've received.

I Heart Delta Hospital is a fun and easy way to get involved with the Hospital and let all those nurses, doctors, technicians and support staff know how much we appreciate their work!

 

WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR DELTA HOSPITAL STORY…

  • Tell us why you love Delta Hospital. Submit your story to the Delta Hospital Foundation between February 1st and 29th, 2012.
     
  • Submission formats include:
    • Written stories: accounts, narratives, poems etc. – Please limit the stories to 500 words. If emailing, acceptable file formats include: .doc, .docx, or .pdf. Limit file size to 4MB
    •  Images: photos or art work – If emailing, acceptable file formats include: .jpeg, or .pdf. Limit file size to 4MB
    • Videos – Please email a video link to YouTube.com or the file as an attachment If emailing, acceptable file format include: .avi, or .mpeg. Limit file size to 4MB
       
  • You can submit more than one story

WHERE YOU WILL BE FEATURED…

  • All approved submissions will be posted on the Delta Hospital Foundation website. Smaller stories will be featured on Delta Hospital Foundation social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.
     
  • Select pieces* will be showcased in the February 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th editions of the South Delta Leader.
 
MK Delta Lands Group donation will cap at $3000. 
 
Submission of your story to Delta Hospital Foundation constitutes your expressed consent to each and every of the terms and conditions.
 
*Pieces that include the author’s full name, place of residence and contact information will be featured in the South Delta Leader, though; only name and location will be printed. Personal information will not be sold, rented, traded or publically available on the Delta Hospital Foundation website. The information collected will be used to manage the I Heart Delta Hospital campaign, to keep you informed on the status of your story, and keep you informed on Delta Hospital Foundation activities.
