Heart conditions are serious and require prompt diagnosis and  treatment. The Cardiac Care Fund supports patients at Delta Hospital that undergo cardiac-related testing, monitoring, and treatments by purchasing state-of-the-art equipment - SAVING LIVES!

With new and state-of-the-art equipment constantly developing, the Delta Hospital Foundation will continue to raise money to provide the best equipment and health care for patients.

  • Heart disease is preventable and manageable
  • Heart disease is a group of conditions affecting the structure and functions of the heart and have many root causes
  • Every 7 minutes someone in Canada dies from heart disease
  • 40,000 people in Delta have some form of heart disease
  • The Cardiac Clinic at Delta Hospital saw over 1,700 patients in 2011 and that number is expected to grow to 2,200 by 2015
